After visiting the Serengeti for over six years, I was finally able to capture an image which brings out the vast expanse of the plains of Southern Serengeti surrounding two beautiful male lions. I have always dreamt of capturing the unabated raw beauty of these never ending plains. It was a bright and sunny day with very little wind. The deep blue sky was spectacularly covered with clouds and the plains of Gol Kopjes in southern Serengeti glowed in the bright sun. This was a perfect opportunity when we found two male lions just roaming free in their territory, their home. The texture of the grass along with its dark and light green tones makes the entire scene extremely surreal. One which will last in my memory forever. Technical Specs: Canon EOS 5D Mark III, 16-35mm F4L lens, 1/1000 sec at F6.3, ISO 250, bean bag. Post Processing: Cropping, Minor Level adjustment, Minor Sharpening.
